I’ll never forget the first time I came to Ithaca. I was 16, going on 17, in convoy with my mother, who courageously allowed me to drive. I was an aspiring Cornell applicant, and couldn’t wait to see real ivy. We traveled south from the thruway, where we were caught off guard by the enchanting beauty of Cayuga Lake and the accompanying bucolic countryside. We visited wineries, antique shops and fruit stands. It was one of the most beautiful days of my life.
That was well over 20 years ago. During this time I have hiked, crawled, ran, sailed, swam and bicycled my way all around this area. I still love it here!
My passion for real estate began when I was a student. Every month I wrote out my rent check, I wanted to be a landlord. Every time I saw a house built suspended over a gorge, I wanted to see what it looked like inside. If there was an open house, I was sure to slither in. I became fortunate enough to make my passion my profession.
The inhabitants of Ithaca are as diverse as the inimitable homes and natural settings that are found here. From deep gorges (yes, Ithaca is GORGES!), to rural landscapes that would surely inspire Norman Rockwell himself, to the awe-inspiring Finger Lakes, there is no place on earth like Ithaca.
